The Bandon Western World has a new Web site, free to all users.
The World’s Senior Web Developer, Steve McDaniel, has been working on revamping the Web site at
http://www.bandonwesternworld.com.
“The new face lift on the Bandon Western World Web site is the start of establishing a more robust online presence for our readers,” McDaniel said. “In the near future, we plan on adding other features such as community calendars and online forums.”
The new site is more user-friendly and will feature most of the articles in the print edition; breaking news; the option for readers to comment about issues; more local photos, photo galleries and ordering information; links to regional Associated Press stories; weather information; links to the popular daily Coffee Break and local special sections such as the Bandon Western World Visitor Guide, the Cranberry Festival special tabloid, the Heart of the Dunes Visitor Guide, and Let’s Go; links to Bandon Western World and Coffee Break services such as subscriptions, ad placement and advertising rates; and links to classified ads and other Southwestern Oregon Publishing Company publications.
McDaniel said the site still is improving and minor changes will continue to be made to make the site easier to use. For more information on the new Web site, those interested can call Bandon Western World Editor Amy Moss Strong at 347-2423 ext. 25, or e-mail
