Relay for Life seeks more participants
There is still time to join Relay for Life. The South Coos County Relay for Life is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 10 a.m., Friday and Saturday, July 11 and 12. The American Cancer Society has been an active member of the South Coos County, Coquille, Bandon, Myrtle Point and out laying areas as well as the Coos Bay area for some time.
Organizers need more teams, people to fill a few positions, as well as funds for education, research and treatment. Luminaries in hope and memory of cancer patients also are for sale.
