A month-long introduction to volleyball will be offered for children in grades 4-6 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 at the Ocean Crest Elementary School gym.
There is no charge for the activity, but signed parent permission/insurance verification and emergency medical treatment authorization forms must be turned in before a child can participate. Forms are available at the Ocean Crest and Harbor Lights Middle School offices.
Those interested also may contact Lynn Johnson at Bandon High School, 347-4413, or Nancy Peters at the Bandon School District Office, 347-4411 or 347-3640 (evenings). Completed forms may be turned in to Peters or may be brought to the first practice.
Players are encouraged to wear tennis shoes and shorts or sweats during practice sessions.
