Volunteers from the Rotary Club, the Youth Center and schools, the business community and others have joined with members of Weedum Seedum, the Parks and Recreation Committee and the Beautification Committee to make the City Park a year-round recreational destination. One of the projects is the creation of a mile-long hiking trail that winds throughout the park.
More gravel is needed to finish the project. Each 5-gallon bucket costs $5. To make a contribution, call Esther Williams at 347-2939.
