7:40 a.m., clerk at Run-in Market at 1355 Oregon Ave. advised customer had locked keys in Honda Element, and can not locate a locksmith.
9:23 a.m., Coos County Mental Health requested welfare check on person. Contacted person at police department; will advise Mental Health.
11:15 a.m., report of loose brindle pit bull in area of Bank of America; looks malnourished.
11:30 a.m., report of two checks written on insufficient funds.
11:51 a.m., employee at North Bend Medical Center, in Coos Bay, requested welfare check on patient who called office distraught, crying and in pain. Informed Bay Cities Ambulance and Bandon Police.
3:25 p.m., report of suspicious vehicle with driver possibly casing residences in area of 13th Street and Baltimore Avenue.
4:57 p.m., Washington man stranded in town; requested transient aid.
5:20 p.m., report of two men carrying golf clubs walking down Beach Loop Drive.
5:29 p.m., report of people driving recklessly on Highway 42 South.
7:47 p.m., received attempt to locate request from Curry County Sheriff’s Office. Woman in Ford Ranger pickup driving intoxicated, possibly northbound on Highway 101 from Port Orford with 8-year-old son in vehicle.
8:16 p.m., Bandon woman cited for driving while suspended violation near Highway 101 and Filmore Avenue.
Nov. 11
5:42 p.m., man asked two transients to leave his parking lot on Highway 101. Man, woman and dog gone prior to officer’s arrival.
Nov. 12
8:29 a.m., report of vault alarm at Chetco Federal Credit Union, 1010 First St. Southeast. False alarm.
9:58 a.m., report of white Ford sedan northbound from Billy Smoothboar’s, hugging fog line, driving approximately 35 mph.
11:30 a.m., city employee reported seal in public walking area on First Street, was concerned tourists may try to touch animal. Back in water when officer arrived.
1:30 p.m., report of person at liquor store having family problems, may attempt to drive. Given ride home by family member.
3 p.m., issued bus vouchers to transients at police department.
3:47 p.m., man reported being harassed. Suspect denied having contact with man.
Nov. 13
7:37 a.m., woman reported man at residence stating he did not have a phone, asked her to call 911. Reported seeing his mother laying on the floor and then gone. Welfare check; mother is fine.
10:45 a.m., report of suspicious person in yellow van parked in front of shop on Michigan Avenue.
3:45 p.m., assisted person in retrieving child.
5:08 p.m., Coos Bay Department of Motor Vehicles advised woman her sister had left a cell phone at their office; requested Bandon Police attempt to locate sister and notify her.
5:09 p.m., assisting Oregon State Police with traffic stop on Highway 101 and Juniper Road.
Nov. 14
7:16 a.m., handled problem with customer at Bandon Shopping Center.
7:46 a.m., suspicious man yelling in area near Jetty Road. He was upset, and is now fine.
8:13 a.m., woman at Ray’s Food Place advises that man had returned and was threatening people with a gun. No weapon observed. Man removed from store, was using finger gun. Officer searched vehicle; no weapons found.
9:24 a.m., report of suspicious man coming out of woods near library now walking north on trail toward Madison Avenue. Advised caller that man frequents the area.
12:27 p.m., stopped unlicensed Coquille driver near Highway 101 and Elmira Avenue. Woman cited for no license and no insurance.
4:47 p.m., man requested officer for civil standby to obtain children for visitation.
7:48 p.m., report of non-injury accident on Strawberry Drive. Lug nuts came off wheel.
11:28 p.m., Michael Taylor, 34, of Canada, arrested on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Taken to Coos County jail.
Nov. 15
12:06 a.m., report of neighbor chopping wood in the 400 block of Ninth Street Southeast. Checked area; unable to locate.
4:20 a.m., woman’s 91-year-old grandmother has fallen and was not answering her phone. Son arrived and will take care of her.
1:45 p.m., report of utility line hanging across road near Fifth Street and Madison Avenue. Charter Communications notified.
3:03 p.m., man in the 1200 block of Ohio Avenue Northeast reported a friend took a vehicle without permission. Vehicle located and returned to owner.
7:33 p.m., report of invalid access code at Chetco Credit Union.
10:05 p.m., arrested Shane P. Overby, 33, of Coquille, on a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants. Taken to Coos County jail.
Nov. 16
2:06 a.m., woman reported intoxicated person in the 1200 block of Harlem Avenue beating on her door.
7:42 a.m., employee at Shooting Star Motel reported horse at motel. Neighbor will put horse away until owner returns.
10:53 a.m., man reported almost being hit by speeding vehicle while on the sidewalk on Beach Loop Road.
11:06 a.m., woman in the 800 block of First Street Southeast advised her 15-year-old male schnauzer was missing.
2:05 p.m., wallet found at Bandon Shopping Center.
3:41 p.m., report that intoxicated driver had left Price ’n’ Pride. Driver contacted; vehicle parked. Warned not to drive.
3;57 p.m., person flagged down officer on Auction Barn Road. Wanted to report suspicious noises in the county overnight.
4:47 p.m., man advised vehicle had broken down in parking lot near Waterman Auto. Will have tools and fix in the morning.
6:35 p.m., woman reported leaving purse on a table outside Bandon Bait Shop in Old Town.
11:23 p.m., man in the 87000 block of Marple Lane reported being assaulted by three people.
Nov. 17
12:06 a.m., officer investigating report of dogs barking in back yard of residence in the 1100 block of Fourth Street Northeast.
2:37 a.m., after a short pursuit, arrested David M. Young, 41, of Damascus, on an outstanding warrant for probation violation and additional charges of attempt to elude and reckless driving. Taken to Coos County jail.

8:01 p.m., report of ongoing problem with teenage boys who drive across man’s lawn in the 87000 block of McTimmons Lane. Last incident occurred between 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Nov. 12
7:48 p.m., report of blown transformer and power outage in the 49000 block of Highway 101. Bandon Electric Department en route.
Nov. 13
5:05 a.m., report of burglar alarm at residence in the 54000 block of Beach Loop Road.
1:29 p.m., report of livestock loose on Highway 42 South near milepost 6.
7:31 p.m., report of injured Rottweiller in road near Prosper Junction and Highway 101. Owner located.
