5:51 p.m., two-vehicle non-injury accident near U.S. Highway 101 and Elmira Avenue.

10:05 p.m., two juveniles were putting large limbs and debris in the roadway near milepost 262 on Highway 101.
2:11 p.m., an unknown person used a local citizen’s debit card number for a $62 charge on a Microsoft product; report taken for fraud.
12:38 p.m., a California man reported backing his car into the bumper of another vehicle at the Bandon Shopping Center on Michigan Avenue; he waited for the other driver to appear, to no avail; left a note with his information on the vehicle.
1:30 p.m., assisted a deputy on a child welfare check on Allegheny Avenue; child OK.
3:57 p.m., a local man who lost his wallet in 2007 reported that someone had opened a library account in his name; possible identity theft; investigation continuing.
4:16 p.m., a runaway child came to the police department and was taken to the Belloni shelter care facility.
10:06 p.m., suspicious conditions reported at the waterfront; large amount of blood on the docks; area checked; unable to find anything suspicious. Checked hospital for possible injured person.
Jan. 282:13 a.m., possible prowler in the 47000 block of Highway 101; unable to locate.
4:11 p.m., incomplete 911 call from 10th Street Southwest; made contact at residence; telephone problem.
Jan. 293:28 a.m., a citizen on North Avenue requested assistance in shutting off the water valve at the home due to a leak; public works crew to handle.
Jan. 302:05 a.m., assisted the Sheriff’s Office with suspicious circumstances on Bill Creek Road.
4:39 a.m., suspicious vehicle near vacation rentals on Beach Loop Drive.
7:54 a.m., report of a female shoplifter at Price ’n Pride, 65 10th St. S.E.
9:03 a.m., non-injury accident in the 300 block of Ninth Street Southwest; information exchanged.
2:41 p.m., graffiti reported at Bandon skate park on 11th Street Southwest.
10:02 p.m., possible suspicious circumstances at Moore Mill log yard on Riverside Drive; area secure; employee on-site.
Jan. 3110:07 p.m., two runaway children were located and returned to their parents.
Feb. 111:08 a.m., advised a person with questions about an ATV that was stolen in Curry County to contact law enforcement in that county.
5:48 p.m., a local man was hit by a car in a crosswalk near Highway 101 and Ninth Street; the driver stopped and checked on him and gave him a business card; officer contacted the victim at Southern Coos Hospital; investigation continuing.
Coos County SheriffJan. 269:36 a.m., personal medical alarm received from the 1600 block of Harvard Street Southeast; no clearance given.
2:22 p.m., alarm sounding at a residence on Lower Fourmile Road.
3:12 p.m., medical emergency on McTimmons Lane; transferred caller to Bay Cities Ambulance.
7:42 p.m., the power was off and the electrical meter was missing from an address on Lower Fourmile Road.
Jan. 2712:15 p.m., welfare check on a possibly suicidal man at an address on Beach Loop Drive; contact made; indicated he wouldn’t hurt himself.
6:39 p.m., a woman requested to speak with an officer regarding drug activity outside the city limits; caller said she would contact the officer the next day.
7:34 p.m., water was coming from the ground near a fire hydrant on Ohio Avenue Southeast.
Jan. 282:13 a.m., assisted Bandon officer on a prowler call on Highway 101.
Jan. 298:55 a.m., hull inspection on a boat in the 900 block of Second Street Southeast.
Jan. 302:05 a.m., single-vehicle rollover accident on Bill Creek Lane near Geiger Creek; vehicle gone on officers’ arrival; interviewed the driver, Ryan D. Kingery, 21, of Bandon, who had gone to Southern Coos Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash and then was released; the driver advised that he had been alone in the vehicle and had lost control on a corner; he said the vehicle was probably removed from the scene by his friends; an investigation located the vehicle at a residence nearby; no citations were issued.
11:18 a.m., suspicious conditions reported on Edna Lane; ongoing neighborhood issue.
Jan. 311:27 a.m., a man with a medical emergency was en route via private vehicle to Southern Coos Hospital.
Feb. 14:37 a.m., medical call on McTimmons Lane; transferred to Bay Cities Ambulance.
6:37 a.m., medical emergency on Delaware Avenue; transferred to Bay Cities Ambulance.
10:49 a.m., assisting Child Protective Services on Auction Barn Lane.
1:42 p.m., assisting Department of Human Services on Johnson Creek Lane.
2:58 p.m., theft of propane tank and battery from a travel trailer on Bates Road; crime report form to be sent.
6:06 p.m., possible restraining order violation in the 49000 block of Highway 101; no violation.
6:19 p.m., tree reported down on state Highway 42S; transferred caller to Oregon State Police.
